Apartment Guest Responsibilities


Dear Guest,

 

Apartment Guest responsibilities may vary across rental properties, so we wish to clarify our guests’ responsibilities at Haus Patricia.

 

Haus Patricia provides a Perfection Guarantee upon arrival: everything in the apartment is clean and sanitized, and every item in the apartment is in proper working order. (If you find any item on arrival that fails to meet this criteria, please notify Haus Patricia immediately, to allow us to address the failure.)

 

This is the condition in which the guest should return the apartment upon departure.

 

As is customary, Haus Patricia charges a Changeover Fee — which is commonly known as a Cleaning Fee. This fee is already included in your booking. This fee compensates Haus Patricia for the following tasks:

•inspection and sanitizing of every surface for cleanliness and damage: every cabinet, every table, every chair, etc.

•inspection and sanitizing of every kitchen item for cleanliness and damage: every eating utensil, every glass, every pan, etc.

•inspection and sanitizing of the bathroom for cleanliness and damage

•replacement of bed linens and towels

•replacement of staples provided: dishwasher tabs, coffee filters, cleaning supplies, etc.

 

It is the guest’s responsibility to leave the apartment in the same condition as on arrival: to clean and to report damage:

•clean-up of spills and crumbs in the microwave, in the refrigerator, on cabinets or stove-top, etc.

•cleaning the dishes, and inspecting the items cleaned by the dishwasher

•separation of trash, and removal to the designated location

Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided in the apartment — vacuum cleaner, wash cloths and sponges, dishwasher tabs, cleaning solutions. If something is lacking, please inform Haus Patricia.

 

Should a guest prefer not to be responsible for leaving the apartment clean, Haus Patricia will charge an extra cleaning fee based on the hours required to complete the cleaning .
